Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Stoptoxin is a nutraceutical combination product containing inulin (a prebiotic fiber extracted from *Cichorium intybus* root), choline (a bowel motility promoter), and silymarin (a flavonolignan complex from milk thistle). Developed by Fiterman Pharma, it is primarily indicated for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C). The formulation aims to reduce IBS symptoms such as abdominal pain severity, frequency, and bloating while improving patient quality of life. Inulin supports gut microbiota health, choline promotes intestinal motility, and silymarin provides hepatoprotective and antioxidant effects. It is typically administered as oral sachets.
