Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ipilimumab + pacmilimab is an investigational combination therapy for advanced solid tumors. Ipilimumab is a monoclonal antibody that targets cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4), enhancing T-cell activation and proliferation. Pacmilimab (CX-072) is a Probody therapeutic designed to inhibit programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) selectively within the tumor microenvironment, thereby reducing off-tumor toxicity associated with conventional PD-L1 inhibitors. The combination aims to maximize antitumor immune responses while improving tolerability compared to other dual immune checkpoint inhibitor regimens. Early-phase clinical studies have shown preliminary antitumor activity and established recommended dosing in patients with advanced, unresectable solid tumors[1][2][3][4].
