Overview

IPN60300 is a first-in-class antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting the novel tumor antigen ITGA2 (Integrin alpha-2), which is overexpressed in various solid tumors such as pancreatic, gastric, and colorectal cancers. Developed by Ipsen in collaboration with Escugen Biotechnology, the ADC consists of a specific anti-ITGA2 antibody conjugated to an exatecan payload—a potent topoisomerase I inhibitor—via an innovative linker. Upon binding to ITGA2 on the tumor cell surface, the conjugate is internalized, leading to the intracellular release of the cytotoxic payload and subsequent cell death. IPN60300 is designed to provide a wide therapeutic index and is currently undergoing Phase I clinical evaluation for the treatment of advanced solid tumors.
