This drug combination is a multi-modality therapeutic regimen being evaluated for the second-line treatment of advanced or metastatic biliary tract carcinoma (BTC). The regimen, studied in clinical trials led by investigator Yunpeng Liu, aims to leverage the synergistic effects of cytotoxic chemotherapy and targeted anti-angiogenic therapy to overcome resistance in refractory biliary tract cancers.
