Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**iSCIB1+** is an investigational cancer vaccine, developed using Scancell’s ImmunoBody® DNA vaccine platform for the treatment of advanced melanoma. It encodes six tumor-associated epitopes designed to generate potent, targeted anti-tumor CD8 T-cell responses, especially in patients expressing commonly found HLA class I alleles (covering ~80% of the population). The vaccine uses improved avidity technology (AvidiMab®) to broaden patient coverage and enhance immune activation. iSCIB1+ is administered intramuscularly via needle-free injection and is designed to be used in combination with checkpoint inhibitors such as nivolumab and ipilimumab, aiming to increase response rates and improve progression-free survival beyond standard-of-care alone.
