Drug intelligence / Profile preview
iso-[131I]SGMIB-A345 is a preclinical GPC3-targeted radiopharmaceutical developed by Duke University Medical Center. It consists of the GPC3-specific single-domain antibody fragment (sdAb) A345 conjugated to the radioiodinated residualizing prosthetic agent 1,3,5-[131I]SGMIB (iso-SGMIB). The agent is designed for targeted radionuclide therapy (TRT) of Glypican-3 (GPC3)-expressing malignancies, such as hepatocellular carcinoma and neuroendocrine prostate cancer. A345 can be prepared as a monomer, dimer, or trimer, with multimeric forms demonstrating enhanced binding affinity and cellular internalization in GPC3-positive tumor models.
