Overview
Jiawei Qing'e Fang is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine preparation used primarily for the management of menopausal symptoms in perimenopausal women. It is a modified version of the classic formula "Qing’e Fang," traditionally used to address symptoms associated with menopause such as hot flashes and vasomotor disturbances. Clinical studies have shown that Jiawei Qing'e Fang can significantly reduce the frequency and severity of hot flashes, improve quality of life in vasomotor and physical domains, and may also help lower triglyceride levels in women with elevated baseline triglycerides. The mechanism is believed to involve weak estrogen-like activity from its constituent herbs, though precise molecular targets are not fully elucidated.
