Overview
Jincao (Jincao Tablet) is an innovative botanical drug candidate composed of total iridoid glycosides extracted from the medicinal herb *Siegesbeckia orientalis* (Xi Xian Cao). Developed by Beijing Konruns Pharmaceutical in collaboration with the Institute of Chinese Materia Medica, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, it is specifically indicated for the treatment of chronic pelvic pain (CPP) resulting from the sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). The drug functions through anti-inflammatory and analgesic pathways characteristic of iridoid glycosides. It is currently in Phase III clinical development in China, where its efficacy and safety are being evaluated in adult women, with pain reduction measured by the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) as a primary endpoint.
