Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JMT101 + docetaxel is an investigational combination drug regimen consisting of JMT101, a fully humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody targeting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), and docetaxel, a taxane-class chemotherapeutic agent that stabilizes microtubules and inhibits cell division. JMT101 inhibits EGFR signaling through extracellular domain binding, receptor downregulation, and induces antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity by engaging immune effector cells. Docetaxel exerts cytotoxic effects via microtubule stabilization, blocking mitosis and promoting apoptosis of rapidly dividing cancer cells. This combination is under clinical evaluation for its antitumor efficacy and safety in advanced solid tumors, including colorectal cancer and potentially other EGFR-driven cancers[1][5].
