JNJ-79635322 is designed to simultaneously bind to three targets: B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and G protein-coupled receptor class C group 5 member D (GPRC5D) on multiple myeloma cells, and CD3 on T-cells, aiming to promote T-cell-mediated cytotoxicity against multiple myeloma and overcome resistance by tumor heterogeneity. Daratumumab is a monoclonal antibody that targets CD38, highly expressed on myeloma cells, mediating cell death through multiple immune pathways. This combination is currently being investigated in relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma, including in patients with prior exposure to multiple therapy classes[1][2][4][3][5][7].
