Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JS105 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the glucocorticoid-induced TNFR-related protein (GITR), developed by TopAlliance Biosciences (a subsidiary of Junshi Biosciences). GITR is a co-stimulatory molecule belonging to the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily (TNFRSF) that is expressed on various immune cells, including activated T cells and regulatory T cells (Tregs). JS105 acts as a GITR agonist, designed to enhance the proliferation and effector function of T cells while potentially reducing the immunosuppressive activity of Tregs within the tumor microenvironment. By modulating these immune pathways, JS105 aims to stimulate a more robust anti-tumor immune response. The drug is intended for the treatment of various solid tumors and is currently in the early stages of development.
