Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JS207 + docetaxel is a combination therapy being developed by Shanghai Junshi Bioscience for the treatment of advanced malignancies, specifically non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). JS207 is a recombinant humanized bispecific antibody designed to simultaneously bind to programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A). This dual action aims to block immune checkpoint signaling while inhibiting tumor angiogenesis. Docetaxel is a taxane-based chemotherapy agent that stabilizes microtubules, thereby inhibiting cell division and inducing apoptosis. The combination is currently under investigation in Phase II clinical trials for patients with advanced NSCLC who have experienced disease progression following platinum-based chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
