Three-chamber bags (3CB) from Fresenius Kabi, most notably marketed under the brand names **Kabiven** and **SmofKabiven**, are all-in-one parenteral nutrition systems designed for the treatment of malnutrition. These products consist of a plastic bag with three separate compartments containing amino acids (with electrolytes), a dextrose solution, and a lipid emulsion. The compartments are separated by peel-seals that are broken and mixed immediately prior to intravenous administration.
