KAND567 + carboplatin

**KAND567 + carboplatin** is a combination regimen of the investigational drug KAND567 and the cytotoxic platinum-based chemotherapy carboplatin, currently studied for treatment of recurrent platinum-resistant epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. KAND567 is a small molecule antagonist of the fractalkine receptor (CX3CR1). By inhibiting CX3CR1, KAND567 is proposed to block cancer-promoting signaling in the tumor microenvironment, restore platinum sensitivity of resistant cells, suppress FA DNA repair pathway activity, and induce tumor cell apoptosis. Carboplatin is a well-established platinum-based DNA crosslinking agent that induces cell death in rapidly dividing tumor cells but is limited by resistance and toxicity. In combination, the regimen aims to overcome platinum resistance and prolong survival in heavily pretreated patients.
