KAZ954 + NZV930 is a novel investigational combination therapy intended for the treatment of advanced solid tumors in oncology research. **KAZ954** is a humanized immunoglobulin G1 monoclonal antibody that selectively inhibits ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase 2 (**ENTPD2**), an enzyme expressed on certain cancer and immune cells; inhibition of ENTPD2 is believed to relieve immunosuppression within the tumor microenvironment, promoting more robust immune activity against cancer cells. **NZV930** is a monoclonal antibody targeting the **CD73** enzyme, a critical source of adenosine production in the tumor microenvironment; by blocking CD73, NZV930 aims to reduce adenosine-mediated immunosuppression, further enhancing antitumor immune responses. This combination was developed and evaluated by Novartis in a Phase I/Ib setting for advanced solid tumors, but in the referenced clinical trials no patients actually received NZV930 in combination with KAZ954, as that arm of the study was not initiated due to early closure of the trial[1][2][3][5].
