Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KD6001 + tislelizumab is a combination therapy under clinical development consisting of KD6001 and the PD-1 inhibitor tislelizumab. KD6001 is an investigational drug with an undisclosed mechanism, being developed by Shanghai Kanda Biotechnology, and is being studied in combination with tislelizumab, an immune checkpoint inhibitor that targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1). The regimen aims to enhance immune-mediated antitumor activity in patients with advanced solid tumors, notably hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, and microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) or mismatch repair deficient (dMMR) solid tumors. The combination may also include bevacizumab (an anti-VEGF antibody) in certain study arms for advanced HCC. Tislelizumab works by blocking the interaction between PD-1 and its ligands (PD-L1, PD-L2), restoring T-cell function and promoting the immune system’s ability to attack cancer cells[1][3][5].
