ketoconazole + vitamin E

Ketomed is a topical antifungal combination product containing ketoconazole and vitamin E, developed and marketed by Med Manor Organics. It is formulated as a medicated soap (often referred to as Ketomed Soap or Ketomed Plus Soap) primarily indicated for the treatment and prevention of various fungal skin infections, including athlete's foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), ringworm (tinea corporis), and seborrheic dermatitis. Ketoconazole, an imidazole antifungal agent, works by inhibiting the fungal enzyme lanosterol 14-alpha demethylase, thereby disrupting ergosterol synthesis and compromising fungal cell membrane integrity. Vitamin E is included as an antioxidant to protect the skin from oxidative damage, reduce irritation, and maintain skin health.
