Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KHK2455 + mogamulizumab is an investigational combination therapy for cancer. KHK2455 is a novel, selective, oral indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1 (IDO-1) inhibitor that targets the IDO-1 apo-enzyme with long-lasting and potent activity. Mogamulizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting CC chemokine receptor 4 (CCR4), approved for certain T-cell lymphomas and under investigation in other cancers. The combination has shown safety, tolerability, suppression of kynurenine production (a marker of IDO activity), and early antitumor signals in patients with advanced solid tumors in phase 1/2 studies[1][3][4]. Preclinical models suggest synergy between these agents due to their complementary immunomodulatory mechanisms.
