Overview

KN026 + irinotecan is a combination therapy consisting of **KN026**, an anti-HER2 bispecific antibody that binds two non-overlapping epitopes of HER2 and blocks HER2 signaling, and **irinotecan**, a topoisomerase I inhibitor chemotherapy agent. KN026 is designed for enhanced antitumor activity by dual HER2 blockade and is being developed for HER2-positive cancers, especially in patients refractory to other anti-HER2 therapies. This combination is currently being investigated in clinical trials for HER2-positive gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancers that have progressed after prior trastuzumab-based regimens. The combination is administered intravenously, with KN026 providing targeted immunotherapy and irinotecan supplying cytotoxic chemotherapy to synergistically inhibit tumor growth[5][7].
