This is a therapeutic cancer vaccine composed of five synthetic peptides derived from tumor-associated antigens: KOC1 (KH domain containing protein overexpressed in cancer 1), TTK (dual specificity protein kinase), CO16 (cancer/testis antigen), DEPDC1 (DEP domain containing 1), and MPHOSPH1 (M-phase phosphoprotein 1). These peptides are designed to induce cytotoxic T lymphocyte responses against tumors expressing these antigens. The combination has been evaluated as an epitope peptide cocktail for use in patients with progressive or relapsed solid tumors—including cervical carcinoma and malignant melanoma—often in combination with immune-modulating agents such as cyclophosphamide or sargramostim. The primary mechanism is the activation of antigen-specific cellular immunity targeting multiple tumor-associated antigens to enhance anti-tumor immune responses[1][3][9].
