Overview

This is a combination regimen consisting of **KYV-101**, an autologous, fully human anti-CD19 CAR T-cell therapy, administered following lymphodepleting chemotherapy with **cyclophosphamide** and **fludarabine**[4]. KYV-101 is designed to deeply and selectively deplete B cells, which are implicated in a range of autoimmune diseases (including multiple sclerosis, lupus nephritis, myasthenia gravis, stiff person syndrome, and systemic sclerosis)[1][2][4][5][6][7][8]. The CAR T cells are manufactured from the patient's own T cells, which are genetically modified to target CD19 on B cells, then expanded and infused after the patient receives lymphodepletion (commonly cyclophosphamide + fludarabine) to prepare the immune system and enhance CAR T-cell efficacy[4][5][7].
