**l-carnitine + glucose** is a combination of two naturally occurring compounds: l-carnitine, an amino acid derivative involved in mitochondrial fatty acid transport and energy metabolism, and glucose, a primary carbohydrate fuel source in human metabolism. This combination is sometimes investigated or administered as a dietary supplement or as part of nutritional support formulations, particularly in metabolic, diabetic, or exercise studies. L-carnitine facilitates the transport of long-chain fatty acids into mitochondria for beta-oxidation, which may contribute to improved glucose utilization, energy production, and enhanced mitochondrial function, especially in tissues requiring high energy (e.g., cardiac and skeletal muscle).
