Drug intelligence / Profile preview
L-methylfolate + methylcobalamin + docosahexaenoic acid is a nutritional supplement combination developed by SAIMIRRA INNOPHARM, primarily indicated for pregnancy support and the management of nutritional deficiencies. It combines three essential nutrients: L-methylfolate (the biologically active form of folate/vitamin B9), methylcobalamin (a coenzyme form of vitamin B12), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA, an omega-3 fatty acid). L-methylfolate bypasses the metabolic steps required by folic acid, making it immediately available for the homocysteine-to-methionine conversion. Methylcobalamin acts as a cofactor for methionine synthase, supporting neurological function and red blood cell formation. DHA is a structural component of the brain and retina, essential for fetal neurodevelopment. Together, these ingredients meet the increased nutritional demands of preconception, pregnancy, and lactation while supporting fetal brain and neural development.
