Drug intelligence / Profile preview
L-NMMA + taxane is a combination therapy consisting of NG-monomethyl-L-arginine (L-NMMA), a pan-nitric oxide synthase (NOS) inhibitor, and a taxane chemotherapy agent (such as docetaxel, paclitaxel, or nab-paclitaxel). This combination targets the inducible nitric oxide signaling (iNOS) pathway, which is associated with poor prognosis in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). The therapy works by changing the tumor microenvironment, potentially enabling immune cells to infiltrate the tumor and generate an anti-tumor inflammatory response.
