Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This appears to be a combination of two separate medications. Lacteol Fort contains Lactobacillus acidophilus LB strain (lyophilized killed microbial bodies) used for treating diarrhea and promoting gut health. It works through direct bacteriostatic action, stimulation of defensive acidogenic intestinal flora growth, and non-specific immunostimulation of the mucosa. The Standardized Timothy Grass Pollen component (as found in Grastek) is an immunotherapy treatment for Timothy and related grass pollen allergies that cause allergic rhinitis symptoms.
