Overview

This multi-strain probiotic formula is a live biotherapeutic product consisting of three specific bacterial strains: *Lactobacillus rhamnosus* HN001, *Lactobacillus paracasei* Lpc-37, and *Bifidobacterium animalis ssp. Lactis* HN019. It is currently being evaluated by the University of São Paulo in a Phase 4 clinical trial (NCT03021161) for the prevention of occupational allergic sensitization and asthma in laboratory animal workers and students exposed to small rodents. The intervention is administered orally in capsule form at a dose of 10^9 CFU once daily. The formula aims to modulate the gut-lung axis and immune response to reduce bronchial hyperresponsiveness and respiratory symptoms in high-risk populations.
