Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination pharmaceutical product containing lamb stomach extract (specifically from the abomasum of young sheep) and vitamin B12. Each capsule typically contains 200 mg of lamb stomach extract (with at least 40 units of rennin activity and at least 15 units of pepsin activity) and 10 micrograms of vitamin B12. The main clinical indications are chronic gastritis-related upper abdominal discomfort, bloating, loss of appetite, as well as infantile regurgitation and indigestion-related diarrhea. The mechanism involves providing digestive enzymes (rennin/chymosin and pepsin) to aid protein digestion, protect gastric mucosa, promote gastrointestinal gland secretion, improve blood circulation in the digestive tract, enhance nutrient absorption capacity, modulate gut flora balance, support recovery after gastrectomy by improving digestive function, and increase resistance to inflammation. Vitamin B12 supplementation supports hematopoiesis and nerve health. Clinical studies have shown efficacy in reversing gastric mucosal atrophy and intestinal metaplasia in chronic atrophic gastritis patients[2][5][6].
