Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LAT010 + ICI is a combination therapy under investigation for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. The regimen consists of LAT010, a human interleukin-2 (IL-2) based immunocytokine engineered to selectively activate intermediate-affinity IL-2 receptors (IL2Rβγ) on immune cells such as CD8+ T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, while avoiding activation of high-affinity IL-2 receptors (IL2Rαβγ), which are associated with severe toxicities. This selectivity aims to harness the antitumor benefits of IL-2 stimulation with improved safety. The "ICI" component refers to an immune checkpoint inhibitor, specifically a PD-1 inhibitor in this context. The combination is being evaluated in an open-label, multicenter Phase 1/2 clinical trial for its safety, tolerability, immunogenicity, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), and antitumor activity in patients with locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors[1][2].
