Lebrikizumab + topical corticosteroid is a combination therapy used in the management of moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis. Lebrikizumab is a high-affinity monoclonal antibody that targets and neutralizes interleukin-13, a pro-inflammatory cytokine critical to the pathogenesis of atopic dermatitis, thereby reducing skin inflammation. Topical corticosteroids are anti-inflammatory agents applied directly to the skin, routinely used as first-line therapy in atopic dermatitis. The combination therapy has been shown in randomized phase 3 clinical trials (ADhere, ADhere-J) to provide significant improvements in both clinical signs and patient-reported outcomes, such as pruritus reduction, skin clearance, and quality of life, compared to topical corticosteroids alone.
