A combination regimen consisting of **lenvatinib**, **carboplatin**, and **gemcitabine**, all of which are distinct small molecule drugs used in oncology. Lenvatinib is an oral multikinase inhibitor that targets several tyrosine kinase receptors involved in tumor angiogenesis and growth, including vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFRs), fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFRs), platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha (PDGFRα), RET, and KIT. Carboplatin is a platinum-based alkylating agent that induces DNA crosslinks and apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells. Gemcitabine is a nucleoside analog that inhibits DNA synthesis and repair. This multi-drug regimen is primarily considered for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, especially in the context of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and other cancers where enhanced efficacy is sought through multi-agent chemotherapy targeting diverse cellular pathways. While analogous platinum-doublet chemotherapies (e.g., lenvatinib + carboplatin + paclitaxel) have established trial data[1], the substitution of paclitaxel with gemcitabine is pharmacologically rational for certain tumor types but specific data on this exact combination are extremely limited.
