Overview

Lenvatinib + nivolumab is a combination therapy of two drugs: lenvatinib, a multi-tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR1-3), fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFR1-4), platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha (PDGFRα), KIT, and RET, and nivolumab, a human anti-human PD-1 (programmed cell death-1) monoclonal antibody checkpoint inhibitor. Together, this combination is used primarily in advanced or unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), exhibiting increased antitumor activity and immunomodulatory effects by both inhibiting tumor angiogenesis and enhancing anti-tumor immune responses through checkpoint blockade[1][2][3][4][5].
