letrozole + atorvastatin

Letrozole + atorvastatin is a combination of two small molecule drugs, each with distinct mechanisms of action and primary indications. Letrozole is a nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor primarily used in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women by inhibiting estrogen synthesis. Atorvastatin is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) indicated for lowering lipid levels and reducing cardiovascular risk by inhibiting cholesterol biosynthesis. While both drugs are sometimes co-prescribed—particularly in patients with breast cancer who develop hypercholesterolemia as a side effect of aromatase inhibitors—there is no evidence that they are formulated or marketed as a fixed-dose combination product. No clinically significant pharmacokinetic or pharmacodynamic interactions have been reported between these two agents[1][3][4].
