This is a combination therapy consisting of letrozole, vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), and calcium. Letrozole is a third-generation aromatase inhibitor used primarily in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It works by inhibiting the aromatase enzyme, thereby reducing estrogen production, which can slow or stop the growth of estrogen-dependent cancer cells. Vitamin D3 and calcium are commonly co-administered with letrozole to address or prevent bone loss and musculoskeletal symptoms associated with aromatase inhibitor therapy. This combination does not represent a single branded pharmaceutical product but rather a regimen often recommended for patients on long-term letrozole therapy.
