Overview

This therapeutic regimen is a combination of leucogen (batyl alcohol), ribociclib, and endocrine therapy. It is currently being evaluated in a Phase II clinical trial sponsored by the Second Affiliated Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University. The primary objective of this regimen is to assess whether the prophylactic administration of leucogen can effectively reduce the incidence of Grade 3 or higher neutropenia in patients with hormone receptor-positive (HR+), HER2-negative early breast cancer undergoing treatment with ribociclib. Ribociclib is a selective inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinases 4 and 6 (CDK4/6), which frequently causes myelosuppression, while leucogen is a leukocyte-promoting agent used to stimulate the production of white blood cells in the bone marrow.
