Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of leuprorelin acetate, a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist, and sintilimab, an anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody. This combination leverages the immunomodulatory effects of androgen deprivation therapy with leuprorelin alongside immune checkpoint inhibition by sintilimab. Research has shown that androgen deprivation therapy triggers thymic revitalization and increases thymic output, enhancing baseline anti-tumor immunity and responses to immunotherapies. Anti-tumor synergism has been identified when combining ADT with anti-PD-1 immunotherapy for androgen-independent tumors.
