Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Krozole-L (levosulpiride + pantoprazole) is a fixed-dose combination capsule developed and marketed by Croise Pharma for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, particularly gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), functional dyspepsia, and acid reflux. The combination pairs pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells, with levosulpiride, a selective dopamine D2 receptor antagonist and moderate 5-HT4 receptor agonist that acts as a prokinetic agent to enhance gastrointestinal motility and accelerate gastric emptying. Together, these two active ingredients address both the acid hypersecretion and impaired motility that underlie refractory GERD and dyspepsia.
