LICR-LON-Fib75 + abrin A-chain conjugate is an early-stage experimental immunotoxin (antibody-drug conjugate) developed in the 1980s for antineoplastic purposes. It consists of the LICR-LON-Fib75 (also referred to as LICR-LOND-Fib75) mouse monoclonal antibody, which targets the cell surface glycoprotein CD59 expressed on human carcinoma cells, covalently linked to the A-chain of abrin, a ribosome-inactivating protein toxin derived from *Abrus precatorius*. The abrin A-chain is carbohydrate-free, which reduces hepatic uptake and potentially extends its circulatory half-life compared to ricin A-chain conjugates. This immunotoxin was investigated in academic and institutional settings, particularly for purging bone marrow of infiltrating breast cancer cells in patients undergoing high-dose chemotherapy (such as melphalan) followed by autologous bone marrow rescue. It has no known commercial developer and did not advance to clinical trials or regulatory approval.
