Overview

A combination of lidocaine, a local anesthetic that blocks sodium channels, and desipramine, a tricyclic antidepressant that selectively inhibits norepinephrine reuptake. This combination has been studied for the treatment of vulvodynia but was not found to be more effective than placebo in clinical trials.
