**Lidocaine + ketorolac** is a non-opioid analgesic combination consisting of lidocaine, an amide local anesthetic, and ketorolac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Lidocaine inhibits neuronal voltage-gated sodium-channel ion flux to prevent initiation and propagation of nociceptive impulses, while ketorolac reversibly inhibits cyclooxygenase-1 and cyclooxygenase-2, reducing prostaglandin-mediated pain and inflammation. The combination has been administered together in local and regional anesthesia, intravenous regional anesthesia, perioperative analgesia, and procedural pain-management settings. In the United States, IT3 Medical markets co-packaged lidocaine hydrochloride and ketorolac tromethamine kits as Acunistat-30 and Acunistat-60 under abbreviated new drug applications.
