Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**DYURAL L KIT** is a multi-component injectable procedure kit containing methylprednisolone acetate injectable suspension, lidocaine hydrochloride, isopropyl alcohol, and povidone-iodine. Methylprednisolone acetate is a depot synthetic glucocorticoid that activates the glucocorticoid receptor to suppress inflammatory and immune signaling; it is the component responsible for the corticosteroid treatment indications. Lidocaine provides local anesthesia through reversible blockade of voltage-gated sodium channels, while povidone-iodine and isopropyl alcohol are antiseptic skin-preparation components. The kit is supplied for clinician-administered intramuscular, intra-articular, soft-tissue, or intralesional corticosteroid injection procedures. The product is listed as an unapproved drug product whose labeling has not been approved by the FDA.
