Overview

**limertinib + bevacizumab** is an investigational combination therapy being evaluated for the treatment of EGFR mutation-positive advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). **Limertinib** is an oral, small molecule, third-generation epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) designed to inhibit mutant forms of EGFR found in NSCLC, including those resistant to first- and second-generation TKIs. **Bevacizumab** is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), thereby inhibiting tumor angiogenesis. The combination is currently being evaluated in clinical trials as a first-line therapy for NSCLC, leveraging the synergistic mechanisms of EGFR signaling inhibition (limertinib) and angiogenesis blockade (bevacizumab)[4]. Early-phase studies aim to determine if this combination improves efficacy (progression-free survival, overall response rate) compared to limertinib alone, reflecting a broader effort to enhance outcomes for patients with EGFR-mutated NSCLC.
