Overview

Lincomycin + lidocaine is a topical combination medication developed by Hubei Kangzheng Pharmaceutical, primarily indicated for the treatment of skin infections resulting from minor burns, trauma, and insect bites. Lincomycin is a lincosamide antibiotic that exerts its antibacterial effect by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria, thereby inhibiting protein synthesis. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic of the amide type that provides symptomatic relief from pain and itching by blocking voltage-gated sodium channels, which prevents the initiation and conduction of nerve impulses. This formulation is commonly marketed in China as a gel (林可霉素利多卡因凝胶) and is approved for clinical use as an over-the-counter preparation for mild skin infections and inflammation.
