Lincomycin + lidocaine gel

Lincomycin + lidocaine gel is a topical combination pharmaceutical product developed by Henan Lingrui Pharmaceutical, primarily marketed in China. It contains two active small molecule ingredients: lincomycin hydrochloride (5 mg/g) and lidocaine hydrochloride (4 mg/g). Lincomycin is a lincosamide antibiotic that exerts its antibacterial effect by binding to the bacterial 50S ribosomal subunit, thereby inhibiting protein synthesis. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that works by blocking voltage-gated sodium channels, preventing the initiation and conduction of nerve impulses to provide rapid pain relief. The product is formulated as a green, transparent aqueous gel and is indicated for the treatment of mild burns, trauma, and mosquito bites complicated by bacterial skin infections, providing simultaneous anti-infective, analgesic, and anti-pruritic effects.
