Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Linvoseltamab + bortezomib is an investigational combination therapy for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma. Linvoseltamab is a bispecific human monoclonal antibody that binds both B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) on myeloma cells and CD3 on T cells, facilitating T-cell–mediated killing of multiple myeloma cells. Bortezomib is a small molecule proteasome inhibitor that disrupts the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway, leading to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in malignant plasma cells. The combination has demonstrated a high objective response rate (85%) and manageable safety profile in early clinical trials for multiple myeloma. Linvoseltamab is being developed by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals.
