Overview

Linvoseltamab + pomalidomide is an investigational, experimental combination therapy being studied primarily for relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. Linvoseltamab is a bispecific monoclonal antibody that targets both B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) on myeloma cells and CD3 on T cells, thereby redirecting T cells to kill malignant plasma cells[6][7][8]. Pomalidomide is a potent immunomodulatory agent (IMiD) that acts as an antineoplastic, modulating the tumor microenvironment by inhibiting pro-inflammatory cytokines (such as TNF-alpha and IL-6), increasing T and NK cell activity, and exerting anti-angiogenic effects through inhibition of VEGF and HIF-1α[2][4]. The combination is being investigated to assess enhanced efficacy and safety in multiple myeloma. This combination is being tested in clinical trials, including arm(s) that combine linvoseltamab with pomalidomide (sometimes with other agents), mostly in patients with prior lines of therapy[5][7].
