Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LipoNasal + LipoSaliva + Tears Again is a combination of three topical products designed to moisturize and protect the mucous membranes of the nose (LipoNasal), mouth (LipoSaliva), and eyes (Tears Again). All three products utilize liposomal technology—specifically phospholipid-based liposomes—to stabilize and restore the natural lipid layers on mucosal surfaces. - **LipoNasal** is a nasal spray containing liposomes and dexpanthenol, used to moisturize nasal mucosa, support barrier function, relieve symptoms of chronic sinusitis, irritation from allergic rhinitis (hay fever), and promote self-cleaning mechanisms[4]. - **LipoSaliva** is a mouth spray acting as a saliva substitute for patients with dry mouth (xerostomia). It adds moisture to saliva using liposomes along with menthol and myrrh to stabilize the oral moisture film and support healing in cases of oral mucosal irritation[4]. - **Tears Again** is an ocular lubricant in spray form that delivers phospholipid liposomes to the eyelids. Upon application to closed eyelids, blinking distributes these liposomes over the tear film’s aqueous layer. This stabilizes or repairs the outer lipid layer of tears—providing relief for evaporative dry eye disease by reducing tear evaporation and improving tear film stability[1][2][4]. These products are primarily indicated for symptomatic relief in conditions such as evaporative dry eye disease (EDE), xerostomia/dry mouth due to various causes including Sjögren’s syndrome or medication side effects, chronic rhinitis/sinusitis, allergic rhinitis/hay fever-related nasal dryness or irritation.
