Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of liposomal irinotecan and apatinib. Liposomal irinotecan is a formulation of irinotecan encapsulated in liposomes that enhances drug delivery to tumor sites through enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effects. Apatinib is a selective vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2 (VEGFR-2) tyrosine kinase inhibitor that inhibits tumor angiogenesis. This combination has been investigated in clinical trials for various advanced solid tumors, often in combination with immunotherapy (camrelizumab) and radiotherapy.
