The combination of liposomal mitoxantrone hydrochloride, cyclophosphamide, vincristine, and prednisone—commonly referred to as the CMOP regimen—is an investigational chemotherapy protocol primarily studied for hematologic malignancies such as peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) and angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL)[1][2][4][5]. Liposomal mitoxantrone is a novel anthracycline-class antitumor agent formulated in a liposome to improve drug stability, control release kinetics, enhance tumor targeting, and reduce cardiotoxicity compared to conventional anthracyclines[5]. Cyclophosphamide is an alkylating agent that crosslinks DNA; vincristine is a vinca alkaloid that inhibits microtubule formation; and prednisone is a synthetic glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects. The combination aims to maximize antitumor efficacy while minimizing adverse effects. Clinical studies have shown promising response rates with manageable toxicity profiles in relapsed/refractory PTCL and AITL patients[1][2][4][5].
