Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Liu's Hua'ai Huixiangdan is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) patent formulation developed for the treatment of esophageal carcinoma. The preparation is based on the therapeutic principles of "attacking toxin with toxin," clearing heat, dissipating phlegm, and strengthening body resistance. It is a complex combination of 14 ingredients, including mineral toxins (arsenolite), animal-derived toxins (blister beetle, toad venom, snake venom, centipede, leech, scorpion tail, and gecko), and restorative herbs (ginseng, pseudostellaria root, and deglued antler). The toxic components are intended to directly kill cancer cells, while the herbal components aim to enhance the patient's immune function and overall constitution. Clinical observations cited in patent documentation indicate that the medicine can improve symptoms such as dysphagia in middle-to-late stage patients and potentially extend survival time.
