Overview

This vaccine is a live, attenuated, recombinant formulation designed to protect against dengue fever caused by all four serotypes of the dengue virus (serotypes 1, 2, 3, and 4). It works by introducing weakened, genetically modified versions of the virus to stimulate the immune system to produce neutralizing antibodies, thereby conferring immunity.
